Congratulations, you won the employee of the month award! How did you feel when you found out that you won?
I was surprised! Usually it is one of the production staff…..
Do you know why you were selected?
Maybe because I get my job done…. And I’m very committed to my work. When I start something, I believe that I need to get it done. I don’t like excuses, both my own or from others.
We want to get to know you a little bit better. Can you tell us about your family?
I live with my parents and my 16 yr old sister.
What do you like to do in your free time?
Listen music with friends, Play music (guitar and some Nepali madal, congo drums) I’m into Eric Clapton. If you like music, check out Night.
Who inspires you and why?
My mother. She has a never-give-up mentality and she faces problems with a positive attitude.
What is something fun or interesting you have done recently?
Sang at the Christmas Party – gurasai fulyo
If you only had one word to describe yourself, what would it be?
Determined
When have you been the most satisfied in your life?
When my sister was born. I had never thought about having a sibling and she was kind of like a surprise gift.
What is your job at Purnaa?
I’m a Project Manager, which means I’m a connection hub the different departments in Purnaa and also with our manufacturing clients.
What do you enjoy the most about your job?
I love getting to see that the work I do helps to create jobs. I really like going down and seeing people working on a project I helped get ready for production.
How long have you worked at Purnaa?
1 year!!! Party!!!!
What did you do before you worked at Purnaa?
I worked at a recovery audit firm that went through the accounts of American retail stores.
What is different about Purnaa from other places you have worked?
It’s completely different. The main thing I would say is the approach to problems or even good things. Here we share them…. It’s a “we thing”. Everyone here is for everyone else.
Why did you want to come work at Purnaa?
There are a couple reasons…. I approached Purnaa because I was ready for something new. And I was inspired by the values.
Why do you want to keep working at Purnaa?
The work environment.
How have you changed as a person since working here?
I think yes. I feel like I’ve gone to a softer side.
If I were to ask your team leader (boss) what your greatest strength is, what would they tell me?
Who knows. You’d have to ask them.
If you had to convince a friend to apply for a job at Purnaa, what would you tell them?
Come visit. You’ll like it.
What dreams do you have for the future?
Not sure. I think they’re changing still.
