Congratulations, you won the employee of the month award! How did you feel when you found out that you won?
Thank you. I wasn’t expecting it, but when my name was announced I was very happy!
Do you know why you were selected?
I think because of working hard and following the values of Purnaa. Also, being friendly with everyone.
We want to get to know you a little better. Can you tell us about your family?
I have been married for eight months. I live with my husband, father-in-law, mother-in-law, and grandmother-in-law. My husband works in the finance branch of one of banks here.
What do you like to do in your free time?
After finishing chores, I like to sleep! Haha. I also like spending time with my family, traveling, and hanging out with friends.
Who is your role model and why?
My Mom and Dad because they taught me about what is right and they always looked out for my best interests.
What is something fun or interesting you have done recently?
I went on a trip to Pokhara and we got to take a boat ride during the sunset on our last evening there.
If you only had one word to describe yourself, what would it be?
When have you been most satisfied in your life?
Whenever my husband supports my opinions. He supports me a lot.

Quality control team leader
What do you enjoy most about your job?
Working together with my friends.
How long have you worked at Purnaa?
What did you do before you worked at Purnaa?
Before Purnaa, I didn’t have a full time job because I was in school. Sometimes I used to be a temporary worker at a jewelry manufacturer.
What motivated you to come to work at Purnaa?
Here there is no discrimination, everyone is treated equally. Purnaa’s five core values are just right for everyone. Everyone is very supportive and friendly with each other.
What keeps you coming to work?
I am satisfied with everything about my job.
How have you changed as a person since working here?
I have learned more of how to help people who have been marginalized by society.
What have you learned from working at Purnaa that you would like to share with others?
I would like to teach others to treat everyone equally. Because everyone at Purnaa, even the people who come from marginalized backgrounds are treated equal.
If I were to ask your boss what your greatest strength is, what would they tell me?
They might say that I am friendly, have a good attitude, and work hard.
What dreams do you have for the future?
I don’t have any specific dreams, but I want to continue to work at Purnaa so I can do good work, receive a good salary, and be able to support my family.
