Before Purnaa, where did you work?

I didn’t have any work before. Purnaa is my first workplace.

What is something you like the best about working at Purnaa?

I think it would be better to say that Purnaa is a blessing for me! I like how members are treated equally by sharing love and support and the working environment is very good. The services like Medical and Educational support has really helped my daughter and I like the idea of how every member’s birthday is remembered and celebrated and I really LOVED and am grateful for the Christmas party we had!

How have you changed as a person since working here?

I have learned to walk with time and also learned that it is very important to understand other’s feelings before speaking .

How long have you worked at Purnaa?

About 3 and half years.

What is your job at Purnaa?

I am sewer here.

What do you most enjoy sewing here?

I enjoy making Topis (the caps and hats).

What is your favorite machine?

Single needle lock.

What do you like to do with your free time?

In most of my free time I am with my daughter. She is 4 years old and I enjoy being with her. When I go back to my house after work, I talk with her and ask her about many things… like how she is doing in school, with her friends and with schoolwork. And she always gets excited and shares with me. Even though I always get busy at work, I try my best so that I can spend time with her, which really helps us have a great relationship! Sometimes I get tired and I tell my daughter we need to go to bed quickly today and she nods by saying ok. She is really lovely.

What is one of your dreams for the future?

I really want to raise my daughter very well and want to help her in achieving her dreams. My biggest dream is to ensure she has a good education that will help her in her future.

Tell us a bit about your family.

I live with my daughter. My parents live in a village outside of town. A few weeks back I went there to meet with them. I visited with my family after almost 1 year.
