The demand for ethical cap manufacturers and sustainable caps and headwear is on the rise. We’re now in our 8th year of exporting custom baseball caps and headwear worldwide.

Each year, we develop new techniques and services to meet customer demand, resulting in an update to the Purnaa Cap Catalog. As an ethical cap manufacturer, we need to be on top of the latest trends in the cap and headwear industry so read on to find out what’s new!

What’s New in Our Cap Collection

We’re excited to roll out several new in-house services that make it easier to customize a unique and bespoke cap for your brand.

New Styles to Match Current Trends

Flat visors are having a moment. To meet demand, we’ve introduced two new styles:

Mid-Pro 5-Panel Flat Visor — no seam on the front panel for a sleek look and perfect for all-over artistic designs on custom snap back baseball caps
Mid-Pro Trucker Flat Visor — our classic custom trucker hat shape with a modern flat visor.

Classic Custom Trucker Cap A timeless favorite with a curved visor, breathable polyester mesh, and an adjustable plastic snap. We’ve added four new mesh colors to give you more ways to customize. This style looks great with leather patches for a premium touch or embroidered patches for bold branding.
Skate Cap Designed with a flat visor for that effortless streetwear edge. These caps look great with sublimation patches, printed panels and our new rope accessory, making it ideal for creative, high-impact designs.

Are Baseball Caps Sustainable?

At Purnaa, our caps are as responsibly made as we can get them. Most of our caps are made from recycled materials, including recycled plastic and polyester for the panels and visor. Our recycled polyester is GRS-certified (Global Recycled Standard), which means that it is produced in a fully certified supply chain. We also use sublimation printing. Sublimation enables limitless color combinations while generating almost no wastewater and avoiding harmful chemicals. Compared to traditional printing methods, it’s a much less environmentally harmful option.

Are Recycled Fabric Caps Good Quality?

Recycled fabrics retain their shape and color very well due to the properties of the fabric.

How Can I Tell if a Cap is Sustainably Made?

There is no such thing as a fully sustainable baseball cap. But there are ways to spot brands that are serious about doing better. Look for recognized certifications like GRS, Fair Trade, or similar standards. At Purnaa, we’re Fair Trade Guaranteed by the World Fair Trade Organization, and we’re always happy to share our certifications. Transparency matters, and we believe in showing the work we’re doing to reduce our impact.
